When you create an account, we collect your email, name, and a password hash. When you run a scan, the photo you upload is sent to our facial analysis engine and processed in memory. The resulting scores, tier classification, and verdict are stored against your account.
We do not store your photo. Once the analysis completes, the image is discarded. Only the numeric scores and the short verdict text persist.
Facient is built on three services. By using Facient you agree to their respective privacy policies:
Photos sent to Anthropic for analysis are processed under Anthropic's Commercial Terms and not retained for model training.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@facient.app. Your account and all scan history will be permanently removed within 14 days.
You can also cancel your subscription at any time from your account page or directly through Stripe. No retention contact, no friction.
We use only strictly necessary cookies — a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking, no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies that follow you across the web.
If we materially change how we handle your data, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
